This week-long project involved designing two ephemeral flyers reimagining posters for Magdalena Bay’s Imaginal Disk Tour in Los Angeles. The flyer designs capture the band’s heavenly, atmospheric sound through glossy, playful futurism and dreamy nostalgia. One flyer features fluid, high-gloss bubble lettering, while the second mimics the reflective, spinning motion of a CD disk from Imaginal Disk. Both of these posters embody a highly polished vision of futuristic nostalgia, perfectly mirroring Magdalena Bay’s ethereal, hyper-digital surrealistic aesthetic.
